Certifications & Compliance

We make Lumine in our own facility in Thailand. Not because it sounds better—but because it keeps responsibility close. A scented candle should feel calm in a real home: steady burn, consistent diffusion, and a finish that never turns harsh. That consistency doesn’t come from luck. It comes from systems—how we work, how we record, how we check, and how we improve.

This page summarises the standards and documentation that support our manufacturing and workplace practices. These credentials primarily relate to our facility and production processes (not “product approval” in a medical sense), and supporting documents can be provided for verification when needed.

Management Systems (ISO)

We follow internationally recognised management frameworks to keep quality stable, operations responsible, and workplace safety properly governed.

ISO 9001 — Quality Management System

A structured approach to quality control, corrective actions, and continuous improvement—so a soy candle behaves consistently across batches, from scent balance to finishing details.

ISO 14001 — Environmental Management System

A disciplined environmental management framework that guides how we reduce impact, manage resources, and operate responsibly.

ISO 45001 — Occupational Health & Safety Management System

A clear, auditable system for workplace safety, risk control, and staff wellbeing—because good making requires safe making.

ISO 22716 — Cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

This standard guides production hygiene, process documentation, traceability, storage, and handling controls. While Lumine focuses on home fragrance formats, ISO 22716 reflects the level of discipline we apply to structured manufacturing—supporting consistency in materials handling (including soy candle wax and scented candle wax references where applicable), as well as stable output over time.

Ethical Trade & Workplace Practices

We believe “premium” should include how work is done, not only how a product looks. SMETA’s 2-Pillar audit focuses on Labour Standards and Health & Safety within the scope of assessment—supporting ethical workplace practices and responsible operations.
